The seed is a precious object that contains the potential for new life. In nature, the seed casing has evolved into a massive variety of interesting forms. I aim to capture the spirit of a seed in each sculpture, revealing the precious life at its core within elegant protective shells sculpted of transparent glass. My seed inspired sculptures have been at the core of my art making for many years.
Glass Face Jugs are an ongoing collaborative project between my dad, John Frus, and I. We have fun making them together, from design to final product. These quirky father/son creations are shared here.
This section shares unique sculptures that don't fit into the categories of my larger bodies of work, as well as images of Public Art sculptures I have created and/or worked on.
