CREATIVE CURRENT

Gracefully hanging in Terry Concert Hall, the massive Creative Current is a suspended glass sculpture that inspires visitors on the beautiful Jacksonville University campus.

The piece undulates and branches and shifts in color as music from the concert hall flows across each glassy element, seemingly influencing them with a gentle push.  This floating river of expression connects the Visual and Performing Arts: a creative current that celebrates the spirit of the Arts.

Creative Current is one of the largest sculptures in Jacksonville, FL.  The hanging glass colossus weighs over a ton, took 6-months to complete, and has over 2600 individual glass pieces covering a steel spine that is over 100 linear feet in length.
